Getting to New Paltz
From New York City / George Washington Bridge:
Take the Palisades Parkway North to the New York State Thruway (I-87) going northbound. Take Exit 18 at New Paltz.
From Long Island / Whitestone Bridge:
Cross the Whitestone Bridge northbound and stay on 678 North until you see the exit for the Cross County Parkway in Yonkers, and take it westbound. Exit onto the NYS Thruway northbound until Exit 18 at New Paltz.
From Albany:
New York State Thruway to Exit 18 at New Paltz.
From the West:
Route 44/55 to Route 299 East
or Route 84 East to Route 208 North or Route 32 North, which takes you into New Paltz to Route 299.
From the East:
Route 84 West to Route 9W North or Route 32 North.
or
Route 84 West to the New York State Thruway Exit 18 at New Paltz.
