The 10K runners hit the ground first at 8am, starting from the Open Space Institute River-to-Ridge Trailhead, going up the mountains and into the Mohonk Preserve, looping around before joining the 5K runners as they prepared to cross the finish line.
And they were fast. Fastest man and woman in the 5K clocked in at 19:36.9 and 19:46.9 minutes respectively. And our 10K runners? A joint win by a brother and sister team who came in at 42 minutes and 1 second. We also can’t forget to shout out to the youngest “runner” who came in second place in the Female 12 & Under category.
If you want to check out all the running times or find out what place you came in, follow the link below to find out who you can brag to (if no one in the office was awake by 8 on Sunday or seen your posts on Instagram then yes, bragging is acceptable).
