Financial planning. The two words no college student wants to think about, but most certainly should. It is a skill that can sometimes be undervalued but could easily save your future-self from a lifetime of debt. “How can I prepare myself financially so I will never have to worry again?” is a question I have often asked myself and I know I’m not the only one. Fear of not having financial freedom is common among college students. However, this commonly asked question is not always discussed in school or with our parents. That is why it is important to become financially literate. How? Let me introduce you to what I have learned and perhaps you will get inspired to educate yourself and take back control of your money.
