Mohonk Preserve Singles and Sociables Hike
Table Rocks Photo Hike
Meet at the Mohonk Preserve Spring Farm Trailhead. This is an easy to moderate, 5-mile hike, led by Brian Sullivan (594-9545). Singles and Sociables outings welcome all adult hikers, single and non-single, aged 18 and above. No reservations required - just come to the location listed at the time indicated. New hikers are strongly encouraged to contact the leader prior to the hike. Hike leaders determine whether or not to allow pets. Free to Mohonk Preserve members and $10 for non-members (includes a day pass which allows hiking access to Preserve lands for a full day, sunrise to sunset, and can be credited for up to two weeks towards a membership).

Wreath Fineries at the Wineries
Shawangunk Wine Trail
Celebrate the holidays along the Shawangunk Wine Trail. You’ll receive a grapevine wreath & souvenir wine glass at your starting winery, then a holiday ornament, food samplings and wine tasting at each succeeding winery on the trail. Mohonk Preserve - Tour the Daniel Smiley Research Center
Paul Huth, Mohonk Preserve Director of Research, will take you on a journey through the diverse, historic collections at the Daniel Smiley Research Center, discussing their value to science, public outreach, and land management at the Mohonk Preserve. Ages 15 and up are welcome. Children must always be accompanied by an adult. This is an indoor program. Reservations are required; sign up begins 12/7/09. Historic Holiday Caroling
Begins @ Dutch Arms Chapel, 16 John St, Saugerties
2009 Quadracentennial Celebration Concert. Residents and friends from the Village of Saugerties will recreate a community celebration of the 1800's. Unplugged Acoustic Open Mic
Unison Art Center, 68 Mountain Rest Rd., New Paltz
There are so many of you talented artists out there ­ but not all of you feel ready for a full-fledged performance. Get your feet wet at Unisonıs Acoustic Open Mic sessions. Bring your flute, lute or kazoo, banjo or bongos, favorite poems or unaccompanied songs ­ and perform before a friendly supportive audience.
