Art, Music and Performing in the New Paltz Area
New Paltz and its environs has attracted artists for many years, and now boasts a dynamic and varied art community as a result. The New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to count many of our area's artists, musicians and performers as members.
The performing arts and music community includes a number of excellent theatre performances such as Mohonk Mountain Stage Company ,and music programs at local colleges - SUNY New Paltz School of Fine and Performing Arts , Marist, Vassar and Bard to name a few - plus arts organizations such as , Unison , where you can observe or participate and learn.
If you prefer larger theatrical or musical productions, why not try Eisenhower Hall or SUNY New Paltz School of Fine and Performing Arts, who also hold summer piano recitals - the Piano Summer program.

Other interesting and unique arts and crafts enhance the diversity of this thriving artistic community. While you can see many of them in one place at the annual Taste of New Paltz Artistic Taste and Crafts exhibits, the New Paltz Chamber is fortunate to count many of the finest local artisans and craftsmen among our members.
