ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES
WEBSITE BANNER ADS
(The rectangular ads that appear on website pages, usually at the top of the page. On the Chamber website, banner ads appear at the top of all pages, except the Home Page, where it appears just under the center of the screen.)
The New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce receives a substantial amount of visitor traffic from people with specific interest in the New Paltz and surrounding areas. Why not put your business in front of them? When a visitor clicks onto your banner ad, they will be brought right to your website. If you do not have a website, they will go directly to your listing on the Chamber’s website.
The Home Page Banner Ad is prominently displayed on the first screen of the Chamber’s home page—which is the most visited page on the website.
The Second Page Banner Ad is prominently displayed on the first screen of one or more of the website’s second level of pages containing subject information; for example when you click onto Lodging from the home page, you come to the Lodging page, which gives a description and a drop-down box with choices of lodging—bed and breakfasts, motels, hotels, etc. Example:

The Third Page Banner Ad is prominently displayed on the first screen of one or more of the website’s third level of pages containing actual member listings; for example:

Additional Pages can be purchased at a discount if you want your banner ad to appear on other pages as well.
What is included with the purchase of a banner ad?
Two additional categories for your business listing, for a total of 3
30-word description for your business listing
You will receive an e-mail at the beginning of each month listing statistics of how many times your banner ad, website and listing were accessed. One month prior to renewal, you will receive the total statistics for the entire year.
Ability to change ad twice a year. (minimum design only)
WEBSITE ENHANCED BUSINESS LISTINGS
Members can enhance their business listing with descriptive wording to help set them apart from the rest of the list. You can further enhance your listing by making your business listing sort to the top of the list—called priority sorting, where the other businesses in your category will appear alphabetically below your entry.

The New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1904—today, with more than 750 members, the Chamber is an active and trusted voice in the business community, local tourism, education and the residential community.
Another way to make your business more easy to find is to purchase extra categories. Your first category is free, and any extras are priced at only $15 each. Extra categories are an affordable way to list your business in many areas on the website.
Example: An accountant may provide many different services and wants to be found under different categories:
Accountants (1st category is free)
Business Appraisers (extra category)

WEBSITE SEARCH/KEY WORDS
The Chamber’s website is searchable by keywords, similar to the yellow pages in the phone book. Every member has a group of free search/keywords (the words in your business name and the words in the categories you are in), and if extra search/key words are desired, you may purchase as many as you wish at a low fee.

REGIONAL VISITOR’S CENTER
We are the only Chamber in the Hudson Valley with a Regional Visitor’s Center. It is stocked with hundreds of brochures and promotional materials from our member’s businesses, as well as attractions in the area, and is manned by professional customer service staff. The Visitor’s Center is open year-round Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and from May through October it is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. If you are a member of the New Paltz Chamber, be sure to give us a supply of your business brochures to display in the Center--another free benefit of being a member.
REGIONAL GUIDE & MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY
Our membership directory lists all of our members by category and alphabetically, and it also doubles as a tourism brochure. An 8x10 full-color brochure, 40,000 are printed annually each May, with advertising opportunities. Distribution spans the New York State Thruway, Garden State Parkway, gateway centers in upstate New York, Ulster County Tourism, restaurants and retail stores throughout Ulster County and in our Chamber office where we distribute copies in our Visitor’s Center and by mail on a daily basis.
NEWSLETTER INSERTS
Create your own 8 1/2 x 11 single-sheet advertisement, printed on both sides if you wish, and it will be inserted in our monthly newsletter. You provide 850 copies (unfolded) on 20 lb. paper.
$150 per issue, members only; $75 once a year only for non-profit members.
NEWSLETTER ADS
Our Monthly newsletter "UPDATE" has 2 1/2 x 2 1/4 size ads, which appear in each edition.
$225 per year (or $450 for a 2 1/2 x 4 1/2), members only.
CHAMBER MAILING LIST
Send your own mailing—stuffed in envelopes, sealed and stamped—to our up-to-date mailing list of Chamber members. We will attach mailing labels and deliver it to the post office.
$125 for members only.
